SERVICE UPDATES
Due to the recent derailment in the Northern Territory all rail services to and from Darwin have been cancelled. NQX will post updates as they come to hand.
All movements ex Melbourne and Adelaide to Darwin and ex Darwin to Alice Springs, Adelaide and Melbourne will be transferred to road services.
In order to recover the additional costs of these road services a 30% surcharge will be applied to all freight movements on these lanes effective 28th December 2011.
This surcharge will be removed once rail services recommence. NQX thanks you for your support during this trying time.
Please be advised that due to the current wet weather conditions some service interruptions may occur. NQX are closely monitoring the conditions and will advise further once more information comes to hand.
FUEL SURCHARGE
Road Services: 7.37%
Rail Services to and from NT and WA: 7.37%
Changes in fuel prices are monitored and the fuel surcharge will be varied as necessary when required.
